Fresh Juice is the Angel Investing platform of Vijay Amritraj, an Entrepreneur and a former Advertising and Financial Services industry professional.

 

Vijay began his career through a campus placement at J Walter Thompson in 1995 where he held senior executive roles handling the prestigious Citibank and Unilever accounts. Brands included Citibank Cards, Diners Club, Pond's and Axe. He was part of many award winning campaigns during that period. Post his Advertising tenure, Vijay had a long stint in the Financial Services industry with leadership roles at Max New York Life Insurance and AEGON Life Insurance. He was a Founder Team Member at both the global insurance giants and helped launch their India operations and build a pan India sales & distribution network.

Vijay turned an entrepreneur in 2014 and Co-founded Voila Cuisine. He drove the company's focus on building a scale able and profitable business. He was instrumental in merging Voila Cuisine with Fusion Hospitality in 2015 to create Voila F9 Gourmet, one of India's largest Work Place Food companies.

Vijay also turned an Angel Investor in 2014 and began his journey by seed funding GeneSys Biologics, a high-end Insulin Biosimilars company. He followed it up with an investment in Singapore based Crayon Data, a fast growing AI/ Big Data company. He currently has investments in Silicon Valley based startups including Dexter School, Cafe X Technologies, Anyplace and Shoot My Travel. Indian startup investments include; inFeedo, and Finin. In 2021 Vijay shifted focus to web3 technologies and has investments in Republic - a NY based equity crowd funding platform, Mercado Bitcoin - Brazil's largest crypto exchange and GARI Token - the utility token and DAO for Chingari, India's TikTok. 

Vijay studied at The Hyderabad Public School, has a degree in Commerce from Nizam College, and an MBA in Marketing from the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management.
